I've got the artwork done for this as well. If these guys can't deliver soon, we can do a group order.

That is a great company...I have ordered stuff from them before. Speedy shipping and the product is as promised.

I've been swamped with work and family stuff plus trying to ride in between rain storms.

I was thinking that rather than dealing with the challenges of getting minimums for repro items, I would approach the UK based guys and see if they would use the artwork that I've made and _potentially_ cut us a deal on stuff.

On another front... I've got the artwork for Renault headbands done. The only vendor that I found that looked reasonable in price/qty was pace. If someone wants to run with getting the order done, I am happy to provide the art.

Now THIS is cool...

Will this be a wool jersey or a modern fabric ?

In fact, I realized a few days ago that the switch between yellow and white sleeves occured in the middle of the 1980 season. Hinault wears yellow sleeves in Liège Bastogne Liège but in the Giro he's already wearing the white sleeves.

Edit : it appears to be the same thing in 1979...probably a winter/summer pattern...or totally random !

I received my Prendas Renault/Elf/Cycles Gitane and wore it on several vintage rides. I turned in 2 of my best performances in recent years. It must be the jersey! Cool

I have a very long torso and the jersey is long enough to not pull up over the top of my shorts in the rear while I'm riding. It's pretty comfortable except for the collar. I'm used to jerseys with knit collars and sleeve ends.

I'd give it a 90 out of 100.

Chas.

they are very nice, the Renault emblem and colour scheme do it no harm with me, as I drove round Australia in a Renault 12 wagon.

are a good safety aid, too.So you guys actually put this Prendas crowd up to making those, you submitted the design pics/drawings, from retro pics of the original being worn ?

And they took it up or you had to make a minimum quantity order to cover their costs on the first batch?

As far as retro jerseys go...

French cycling store "Marcarini" just issued a "La Vie Claire" jersey. Unfortunately, no pictures available.
