Its been repainted, I think, but I'm thinking it may be a TDF. I bought it yesterday and am picking it up in a couple of days. The young man who sold it had a bunch of stuff from his uncle, including a newer Peugeot, an old Batavus and a mystery bike from maybe the 50s? with mustache bars. This bike has simplex dropouts up front, simplex shifters, campy derailleurs and a Brooks B17 on a alloy seat post. MAFAC Competition brakes and MAFAC levers with half hoods. It's sporting a rack front and rear. Half chrome front forks and same with rear stays. High hub tubulars. Sorry for the bad pics, it was dim in there and I was in a hurry. main question now is the "logo" on the steerer tube: has anyone ever seen that and if so, what is it?
