I've never seen a Gitane Super Corsa or TdF frame this size before. Gitane listed 19 1/2" frames but I never saw one of the Reynolds frames smaller than 54cm (21 1/2") and very few of those.

I had an orange 53cm Gran Tourisme that I bought as a bare frame with racks and fenders. It handled like a wheelbarrow due to the long wheel base and 69° head tube angle. It just wanted to go in a straight line but it was comfortable. It was too small for me so I sold it off.

It looks in really nice condition. I remember seeing new bikes come out of the box in worse condition. Bicycle packing and boxes left a lot to be desired back in the 1970s. A lot of the really bad scratches you see on Bike Boom era bikes came from shipping damage. The wheels just rolled around in the boxes.

I have an almost identical frame hanging in the garage. I think it is a tiny bit bigger than this one (50cm, I think), but it is very small indeed....
