Hii greetings .. i bought this frame with headset & bottom bracket STRONGLIGHT, 3ttt seatpost and i got an original decals .. this Color looks like gitane pista 1974 on other threat on this forum nowi already confused, because the color at the in http://www.gitaneusa.com/ catalog can't describe full .. what do you think about this frame mate ?
i try to hard for make a discussion here, should i take my frame series?? !!

I "cleaned up" your pictures a little, here they are.
The frame looks very much like a mid 1970s Mexico. I've never seen a Gitane Mexico model bike.
I'm only familiar with the 2 other Gitane track bike models, the Student or School (called the Track Standard in the US) and the Super Pista.
The Track Standard/Student/School model was an entry level track bike similar in quality and components to a Gitane Gran Sport road bike.
The Super Pista was equipped with all Campagnolo components and had an all Reynolds 531 frame with Campagnolo forged dropouts.
According to the Gitane specifications the Mexico bikes had the 3 main frame tubes made of Reynolds and used mid range components.
Your frame appears to be Purple color like this bike.
I'm curious about the headset on your bike. It's a Stronglight A9 model that came out in the late 70s. The Mexico would have used a Stronglight P3 headset. The stack height between the 2 headsets is very different, see pictures below for explanation.

The difference in the stack heights between these 2 headsets is about 8mm to 10mm. The A9 headset may be too tall for your frame.
