For all of you who are not permitted to keep your bikes in the living room, check this out.

We are having floods here and we live fairly close to a local river. Not sure if we are going to get flooded, but have taken precautions by packing up everything of value downstairs and bringing it all upstairs. Thus, all our bikes including the gitanes are now in the front room watching TV with us. Cool huh? I wonder if I'll be allowed to leave them here once the water is gone.

Don't know if I would be allowed to get away with that. Very nice collection. I'd have to find some other "higher ground" to store them.

It's winter here so I can usually bring one in the house to work on instead of spending the money to warm up the shop.

All looking good so far here. The south pine river has dropped. Sadly, for those along the brisbane river, the level is rising despite an outgoing tide. They are going to cop it today.

Package (finally) coming your way. Hope it doesn't have to be delivered by boat.

I also had her on high alert around the Huffy in case lofter turned up with a pair of bolt cutters. Laughing Here she is in tiger mode.

Nice to see the bikes inside Wisey and good to hear that all is well with you.

A cloth colour coded to the background and carpet will do wonders in making them invisible to the naked eye - the perfect trompe d'oeil!

Wisey,
Greyhounds have no problem living with Vintage Bike clutter in the Living Room day in and day out. And, this is just one corner.

Wisey:

You folks are not alone. Here's a couple of photos today from our property. The first directly behind my house and the other is looking down our road this afternoon (we've since slowed that down).

Yep. Had two hard freezes in November and December that raised the level of the creeks. The past two days saw a large amount of rain, heavy warm winds (30+mph/50 kmph) and rapid snow melt. The water jumped the creek banks and created the fun you see there. I spent about 45 minutes trying to re-direct water to keep it from tearing up the road. So, far it looks like it worked.
