New Years Resolution!

Happy New Year to all and BTW, I had my latest Gitane, a 1970 Super Corsa out for it's first ride today (between raindrops).

41 Years old, it rides great! Very Happy

I would have had it out earlier but the 14-30T Regina Oro freewheel freewheeled in both directions. I soaked it in solvent for a few days to loosen up the pawls. Wink

You left out, come to Oz-land and have a cold beer with Wisey. I can also fix you up with that Penny Farthing while you're here. I bloke I worked for when I was a teenager now runs a course at the local college where anyone can do the course and build their own Penny Farthing.

Oh, come on. It's only $3000.............. each way Twisted Evil

At least wait until your $US gets back to rights. At the moment we are getting about US$1.02 for our $1AU. Used to be the other way around with us buying US$0.65 for our $1AU. Shocked

But it's good for me to buy some stuff online at the moment!! Twisted Evil

Let me give you some free advice:
If you have to choose between visiting Aus and buying a Delta,

BUY THE DELTA! Laughing

My new year résolution : stop showing off... NOT !

In all seriousness, reach less than 85kg and stay there, at least till July 11.

Three resolutions:

1) Ride 3000 miles (4800 km) again this year

2) Keep trying to get weight down to 155 lbs (70 kg) - still stuck at 168 (76 kg)

3) Do more long hill repeats - I have two different ones I like to ride - 5 miles (8 km) and the other is 2 miles (3 km). The training will consist of 2 repeats on the longer one and 3 on the shorter one.
