Did everyone follow the link to the Super Corsa on ebay? If you haven't, please do so and read the description  . Whoever wrote that doesn't know too much about bikes, huh? It has a new saBBle  ! New wraps (Iwas thinking of getting a nice chicken wrap for my bike ) and a NEW  !! set of Campy NR or GS cranks. Wow, they must have cost a bit to get them NEW . And to cap it off, this is also "the fastest bike in Nashville" . And $5000  ? If you, bought the modern version with dur ace & carbon frame, perhaps.
However, it is a fantastic Gitane from the early 70's or late 60's - so start bidding you local residents!!!! If you're 6'2" or taller that is....... |

I sent the seller a note pointing out that while it was a fantastic bike, it never retailed new for $5,000...nor were the cranks new...etc. etc. I opined that the price was too high, and that the bike may sell for $1K to 2K, but not starting at 2.5K. But I added that you never know - someone might pay it!
It is a nice bike, for a giant. |
