So I get home from work and my wife says that there is a package for me. I start to get a bit excited because i've been waiting for the NOS yellow/black bio turbo saddle to arrive from France for the past month.

I open the package wondering if the saddle is actually new. Oh yeah. The wait and effort to find this sucker paid off. New, in the Selle Italia box, in the plastic bag. Beautiful.

So the Mrs. asks the question (logical from the Mrs. POV) "What are you going to do what that thing? Is is another one of those 'uncomfortable saddles' you have complained about?"

So I tell her that I am building a new bike, one part at a time. She rolls her eyes and you can almost hear her say "Quand les poules auront des dents...."

Is it the lyrca covered "systeme u" one, or the black & yellow "wavy"?

I am jealous. I have been looking for that damned saddle for years now. You are stuck as well, and will have now search for a white 1988 Team Pro. if you find one, I have the proper stem for sale/trade....

As they say on another forum - no photos and it didn't happen. Let's see some pics.

I took three years of French in High School and really the only things that I remember was an extreme dislike for the teacher and that I bought a book called Merde Encore which helped you learn what they don't teach you in school.

Quand les poules auront des dents translates to When Chicken get teeth, the French equivalent to when pigs fly.

As for the goods, pics coming. Been out riding today in prep for the death ride. I am beat.
