mach 1800 2002

hi looking at a gitane mach 1800 2002 model shimano 105 triple group
anyone rode or have one looks good but wondered what ride like
my other gitanes are steel

I had one. It was a decent ride, but it was not as rigid as you would want it to be. I rode and raced it for 1.5 years, and it didn't age very well. Also, the finish looks much better in the catalogue than it actually was....

thanks stephan im not to bothered if the frame isnt too rigid as im looking to use it for longer rides so comfort would be more the option for me
looks good spec with 105 triple group ambrosio rims etc
i would think frame would be built in taiwan have seen the illustration in the 2002 catalougue on the site

Nope. That frame was built in France at the Machecoul factory.
