Hi, i picked this up the other day complete for $30.
Ive been told its a Gitane purchased in 1985 new, but its been repainted and all the parts customized.
Any help to narrow down the year and possibly a model so i can restore it back to original?
Seat tube takes a 25.0mm. Has 5257 stamped on the bb and 25109 8.
Fork has BCM stamped on the front of the lug and sloping crown(possibly non original?)
