I bought this Gitane and rebranded it as origanal as possible. The previous owner had lovingly restored it and resprayed it in Fiat yellow hard coat, I sent to Australia for the decals and I am very happy with the imago presented.
Can any members please tell me any of it’s history as I was told it was the winter or road bike of a Tour de France winner? Do you know the year or model also?
Because it’s yellow.
