Hi ,since two years i'm a member of a volonteer run cooperative workshop call "l'atelier Pharmacycles" in Toulon (south of France).
With some friends we try to make things better helping people to repair themself their bike with our knowledge and tools.
In addition to that people, give us obsolete bikes ,after a renovation we sold them at lower price (for the rent of the workshop etc etc).
Few weeks ago Alexandre decided to give a new magnificence to this Renault-Gitane.
This Gitane Tour de France with Renault stickers is the symbol of cooperation among the french cars builder Renault and our favorite cycles manufacturer during the late 80'.
All the best french components of this era are showned simplex/maillard/mavic/stronglight .
Now this bike is for sold.

| Your english is great! Renault bought Gitane in the 1970s...I forget the exact year. It is interesting that there were some Renault-badged Gitane bicycles. This is the nicest one I have ever seen: Most are rather low-end. |
