G'day.
I'm new to the forum and need some help. I have 1983 Team Pro (Columbus tubes, Simplex shifters, Modolo brakes, Maillard hubs, Mavic GL330s) which has Campagnolo cranks which I would like to replace with original cranks. Which particular model of Stronglight cranks would I need to find? The handle bars are also a later addtion. What would I need there? The bike also has a black Cinelli stem. Was this an option at the time? It looks good anyway. I have owned the bike for 15 or so years, and probably not treated her the way she deserved but I love her anyway. Also came with a story of it being raced in Europe. Has a sticker of Radsport Thurn at the base of the down tube. Any help or info would be appreciated.
Cheers

Welcome to the forum...and nice bike. Wisey...you jealous??? That thing is on your continent!

Please send us some pictures after you have finished with it. The saddle should be replaced as well (Selle Italia Turbo, yellow), as long as you are going to go "original". Like I said: Beautiful bike. And Wisey...I am jealous as well!

Hint for applying Benotto bar tape:

Use rubber cement first. Apply it to the handlebars, then wrap the Benotto tape (immediately). It will not slip and slide like the bar tape in the picture.

Thanks for the help. The saddle is the correct Selle Italia Super Turbo and the tape is the Benotto style. So, I need the cranks, handlebars, stem and pedals (which I forgot ask about). The derailluer is the 6600 by the way. Can take more photos if anyone is interested. Thanks again for the info.

I don't think the saddle was original...I don't think that those Selle Italia saddles were available until some 3-5 years after that bike was made. The correct saddle would be the regular (standard issue) yellow selle italia.
