crashed my gitane

crashed my lovely gitane 1 thursday.sucked big time . unfortunately it was my fault .fortunately nobody was hurt. i had a headace for a couple days from the airbags deploying.already in the shop getting fixed .going to trade it in when it gets done . was thinking maybe a magnum . the only thing on that tho is its a dodge Sad

.......... you're going to keep those licence plates though aren't you? Doesn't really matter what you put them on then....

Good to hear you're OK. Airbag headache is better than steering wheel->windscreen->pavement headache!

oh yeah , ill definately keep the plates. i agree wisey , better to bounce off the airbag than the steering wheel.

Thanks Lofter, but Sandman already sent me one of the Shimano ones he mentioned in an earlier post. I've forgotten the part number, but it's a Shimano product and has the large diameter plug that fits neatly into the BB shells of the 1980's Gitanes.

Still got that part number Sandman? Would save people a lot of trouble in the future......
