Mine looks like this. I'd really like a repro in French but just can't seem to find one:

That IS the French one. Question ...or are you trying to find a repro to put on there after a respray?

Stephan, I was referring to a replacement after respray. This one is a bit chewed up on the right side as well as having some paint spray on it from someone spray painting near the bike t looks like.

For the 60s set, I am working on a very accurate reproduction of these decals (as they were extremely hard to come by).
Bizarre. Could it say "3-Tubes" and then add the stays?
yes...

f.w.i.w. I have a small stash of "dry fix" (rub-on) 531 transfers both English and French, including fork transfers that I've kept for personal projects. There was a lot of variation in them apparently and I'm no expert though I've even found a french-language transfer on my original Frejus!! It seems folks aren't too innerested in the old rubons anymore though since the trend is to cali-style overfinishing and then slathering clear over (usually) Cyclomondo graphics

Are these the correct decals for an '87-ish Team Professional?

Close enough... Wink

Gitane used those decals on their top 3 models in 1984 then went back to them for the Team Pro bike pictured in their 1987 catalog which was issued by Cycles Gitane here in the US.

In 1975 and 76 they used a different.... very different style decal. That's all I'll say about them. Rolling Eyes

Thanks Chas. You'll be happy to know the bike is fixed no more... but has an ugly stem right now.
